This page explains, plainly, what www.cars.mt actually sets on your device and what we track about your visit.

Cookies

We set exactly one cookie: a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you logged in and protects our forms against forgery (CSRF). It's never used for advertising, analytics, or tracking you across sites, and it's required for the site to work at all — there's nothing to opt out of.

No advertising or tracking cookies

We don't run Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or any other third-party advertising or tracking script. Nothing on this site sets a cookie, fingerprint, or identifier to follow you between visits or across other websites.

Our own analytics

To understand how the site is used, we log basic, anonymous visit data on our own server — which pages get viewed, roughly how visitors arrived (e.g. from a search engine), what kind of device and browser was used, and which country a visit came from. This never includes your IP address, your exact browser version, or any cookie or identifier that could tie two visits back to the same person — we genuinely can't tell whether two visits were the same visitor or two different ones, and we don't want to.
